I've got a dilemma. I finished my Anthropologie Inspired Capelet and this is how it looks like:
Okay, it isn't blocked but you get the idea. Normally, it's supposed to be pinned at the neck but that just makes me look like a stuffed monkey.
So hence, the bottom pin. BUT you see the rolling in at the top opening? I do not like that. Do I leave it be...or frog it and knit this:
The pretty Minisweater by Glampyre.
Please tell me what y'all think? The life of my capelet depends on it.
Toodles~

You could certainly rip and knit the mini-sweater. There was a KAL a few years ago that you may want to try and find, as I remember some people having trouble with the front of the Minisweater.
Maybe if you crochet around the rolling edges it would flatten down?
A few rows of Moss stitch, Ribbing or Crochet?
I've just finished something similar, will blog later :)
Can't you just add the edging to it?
I'm not sure if u can add some edging to it so that it doesn't behave like that. but if you can't the Glampyre pattern is really cool too~~!
Dear Rain,
I think you can do some ribbing or moss stitches at the edge! This minisweater does looks good on you. Dont frog it! Well, thats just my 2 cents though! =)
I was going to suggest crochet too and think the idea of picking up and knitting on extra edging is good too, it's a shame to rip all that work although the mini-sweater is a really cute knit too.
A crochet edging is nice too.
better crochet it to stabalize the edging. by the way where did u get your stash of cotton yard in kl? im still looking
Thanks for the tips everyone.
Azs~ You can get cotton yarn from Lily's Handicraft at Subang Parade or Sunei Wang. The rest I have gotten from outside Malaysia. Good luck =D !!
Can you just use dpns to knit a picot edging on it? Or maybe just hem that rolling part and steam it flat?
I like them both! I like the increases on the white one and I like the shaping of the second one. Nice scooped neckline!
